For an international company operating in the medical components and single-use solutions sector for the medical device, we are looking for a:

Sales Manager - Medical OEM Components & Business Development

The selected candidate, reporting directly to the General Manager EU, will be responsible for the assigned territory, managing both existing clients and prospects with a strong focus on new business development.

In particular, the role will focus on:

  • Direct commercial activity across Italian and international markets.
  • Identify and develop new OEM customers within the medical device sectors.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and build long-term strategic relationships.
  • Interface with customers’ engineering, R&D, procurement and supply chain teams.
  • Manage and develop the existing customer portfolio.
  • Contribute to the company’s international growth strategy.
  • Coordinate and support the daily activities of 2 international Account Managers.
  • Participate in international trade shows and industry events.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a relevant field and has a minimum of 3 / 5 years of proven experience in the role, with strong demonstrated results.

Mandatory exclusive background in the medical components (Medical tubing / disposable systems, single use components) or Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers in the medical device industry. Please note, applications from candidates with experience outside this sector will not be considered. 

He/she also has:

  • In-depth knowledge of medical device marketing, sales techniques and best practices.
  • Experience managing a small commercial team.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership and communication skills, combined with a results-driven mindset and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Hands-on, proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Fluent in English is mandatory (at least C1). Knowledge of another language is a plus.
  • Technical background or technical/engineering education is considered a plus.

Our client offers: Permanent contract (CCNL Commercio), with an indicative gross salary range between 70.000 and € 85.000, bonus and full use car.

Location: Northern Italy – availability to travel nationally frequently and within Europe.
